Job Description:Job Description Creative Door Services, North America’s largest overhead door dealer, operates nine branches across Western Canada and we have over 50 years of experience in the residential and commercial overhead door industry. We provide access solutions by servicing and installing a variety of overhead doors and driveway gate systems, operators and associated controls. We have an immediate opening for a Warehouse/General Laborer in our Saskatoon Branch. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position will perform all warehouse duties. This role is a permanent, full time position. Responsibilities:Keeping the warehouse organized and maintaining inventory controlsProcessing incoming and outgoing materialsConducting inventory checks and providing reports to Warehouse ManagerMaintaining rolling inventory of continuous jobs per company policy and procedurePerforming a variety of material movement tasks for order filling, receiving and loading/unloadingFollowing processes to ensure error-free shipping and receivingMaintain a professional demeanorChampioning safety standardsProviding superior customer serviceWorking with hand tools, electric tools and laddersRegular interaction with warehouse staff, construction Project Managers, customers other trades and safety personnelOther duties, as assigned Skills:Attention to detail and critical thinking skillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situationsPossessing resourcefulness, integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team environmentApplication of general knowledge of industry standards, company policies, and proceduresKnowledge of overhead doors, sectional, rolling steel, high speed or specialty doors would be considered an asset Qualifications:Completion of High School or equivalentExperience in a relevant trade is required (for example, construction, welding, millwright, electrical)Exposure to warehouse environment would be beneficialSome experience with customer service would be an assetPossess valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstractAny relevant safety training or tickets preferred or willingness to obtain (WHMIS, Fall protection, First Aid, etc.)Must be able to lift up to 75 poundsLifting, pulling, climbing, standing, sitting, lying down, squatting and kneeling and managing equipment and tools requiredMust be able to successfully pass pre-employment screening requirements including drug, alcohol and health assessmentNew hire candidates will be required to provide a current Driver's Abstract at their own cost We offer:A positive work environment with competitive pay and an excellent benefit planEncouragement and support for our Technicians and Installers in obtaining CDI CertificationComprehensive technical, safety and product training providedStable, consistent work with opportunity to build a long-term career with upward mobilityExcellent Health and Dental benefits offered for full time employeesCOR Certified workplaceEqual opportunity employer To Apply: If this career opportunity sounds like the right fit for you, apply online at creativedoor.com with your resume and include your salary expectations.
