For Sale By Owner

Early 1970s Buffalo Head
Model AY333W
Rosewood back and sides
Spruce top
Little to no wear on fingerboard
One tuner cap missing
Slight surface crack does not affect sound .
According to research sources ..."
Yamakis were considered by some to be the 'poor man's Martin.' This AY333 appears to be a copy of the Martin D-28, but with the bound fingerboard of a D-35. Tone-wise it's lush, loud and well-balanced, great sustain without being boomy in the low range. It's hard to describe tone, but forty-three year old wood (helped by the bone nut) has sonic qualities that you don't find in a new guitar. "

This vintage piece was bequeathed to me but I do not play guitar.
Price is firm as local musicians find this a good price.
