This guitar/bass is handcrafted by myself. The body is made of pine and the necks are rosewood. It has been clear coated with polyurethane 5 times and buffed to shine. The head stock is coated with black paint then polyurethane coated over the black paint.
Back panels which access the electronics are mad of stainless steel. As are the knobs on the front.
On the guitar side you have 2 single exposed coil pickups bolted on the wood and a hum-buck sitting in bridge position also bolted to the wood. I've got intonation set super low with little buzz but thats how i play and can be raised if so desired. This setup is run by two tone knobs and a volume. There is also your regular selector switch is 5 way.
On the bass side of the guitar you have a single Hum-Buck with tonal control sitting just behind it.
Guitar and bass are linked with a master switch for selecting either or. The wire is done so no crass talk exists though its electronics. I have the ground and positive wires linked to the switch so when one is on the other is off.
The entire thing is handcrafted minus the necks. Everything is hand sanded, I used a cherry stain for underneath and hand burnt the guitar to give it a old antic kinda look. Then i put 5 layers of polyurethane which was hand sanded in-between coats.
The trust rods have been adjusted to get the stings on both guitar and bass the lowest to the frets as possible....again this can be changed if so desired.
The guitar is lighter then most double neck guitars as pine is very light. It is a one of a kind guitar and going under my brand as DTR as i do intend to make more. The serial as such is 001 which i have placed under the necks.
I'm not selling this cheap but its worth what i'm asking. Shipping will be disused after the sale. As it is such a large item it will cost 100 dollars or more depending on the options you choose.
If you have any questions please drop me a line, this guitar is meant to be played on stage and i hope the buyer dose just that. Anyways, take care and happy bidding.
