For Sale By Owner

I bought this phone for my sister, who has both vision and hearing problems. I bought it because it says it has "Talking Caller ID". It does have this feature...but it tells you the number that is calling. We wanted a phone that would tell you the name of the person who is calling if they are in your phone book. My sister has MS and this also affects her cognitive ability and she cannot remember numbers, so she needs one that says the name.
Other than that...it is a good phone...we bought it in August and tried to see if she could adapt. By the time we decided that she could not, it was past the time when we could return the phone.
This is what the phone has:
The XLC3.4 is a loud, simple and easy-to-use amplified cordless phone featuring up to 50 decibels of Digital Clarity Power™ amplification, DECT 6.0 technology and a loud and clear speakerphone. Large, high contrast buttons are easy to press and see, and speak the numbers as they are dialed. Talking Caller ID and a Caller ID screen tell you who is calling.

This is also a good video to watch (after she explains the boost issues...just have to suffer through that part) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nr08g08qrmk

It comes with the base unit and an extra handset.
Bought it from Staples for $237 (plus tax). You can check it out on the staples website

Asking 50.00 OBO....would make a good Christmas present!!
