The Golden Rule (Verlag) Lutterloh Pattern System, Germany is a red plastic folder with ring bound pages. There is no book jacket.
This manual shows method of self-instruction on cutting out patterns for all types of garments (both outer-wear and under-wear) in all sizes for ladies, children and men.
The book is from the early to mid-1960s with 266 patterns for the entire family.
The Golden Rule Importer and Distributor was Patterns Unlimited, Inc. of Elmont, N.Y.
First section in The Golden Rule Pattern Manual is the Introduction followed by the Description of Models, an Index to the 417 color and black & white clothing images that follow. The next section displays black & white measured patterns.
NOTE: The book is missing its original tape measure and template.
Folder/Binder, rings and pages are in good condition. Pages are crisp with no writing, marks, folds or tears.
NOTE: There is some age-discoloration on pages and an ‘old’ vintage smell to the book & pages.
