Ferrah is roughly 8 years old.
She can be shy and doesn’t like loud noises when she haltered. She will jump, but not bolt.
We can now walk up slowly and put a halter on her. She’s pretty good the farrier and been kept up to date on her feet. No founder and needs to stay that way.
Walks on a lead. Tricky to get on a trailer, but can be done with patience.
In her defence she just hasn’t been worked with enough overall. Real wasn’t a fan of people when she arrived. I believe she was a bit man handled to get things (feet, leading, etc)done prior to coming to us.
She is a great little mare that just needs proper training.
Easy and great in the herd with gelding and mares (standard and minis).
Great size for a kids pony, if she was to receive that proper training.
Would also be great if trained to drive.
She moves off pressure nicely and enjoys working with people. She just needs more of it.
I’m in absolutely no rush to sell. A responsible home is a must. We would like a verbal agreement that if a new home couldn’t keep her for any reason they we get first dibs to purchase her back.
I know I listed quite a few cons about her, but want to ensure a proper home. She’s a great little mare with lots of potential in the right hands.
