5 year old Mini Gelding

Critter 5 year old mini gelding for your consideration. Critter has been used as a lead line pony for beginners 3-6 years old. Has had novice riders on him riding solo a handful of times without issue. He responds to his beginner rider on the lead line, but has not had a solo ride with a complete beginner off the lead. Was used last year to wait for the kids off the bus and walk them back up the driveway. He will stand tied all day, trailers, loves to be fussed over and loves kids! He is missing an eye ball (still has the eye lids) from an injury as a weanling. It doesn’t bother him and has been looked at by several vets. He has been to shows in the lead line classes. We have had him out on trails with other horses and he follows along. Has been ponied with his lead line rider in tow. Just this past winter we had him harnessed and hooked up to a sleigh. I wouldn’t consider him broke but he had no issues with pulling an empty sleigh around. He long lines and responds to the bit and clucking to move forward. Where he stands in the pecking order depends on his herd. In a small herd of submissive geldings he thinks he is boss, however with the mares or horses that aren’t total push overs he knows his place and won’t test. He can be loose around the yard and stays close by. Loves getting treats and attention and very good with small kids on the ground. He would be best suited for a small child with some experience to take him to the next level, to pony a child behind another horse or as a lead line pony for kids to fuss over. He will come with his harness, bridles, bits, reins, halters, and a whole wardrobe of blankets. Saddle can be negotiated. Trailering available.
