Presenting a rare, vintage 1940’s-50’s Bardwell McAlister “Keg”
movie/stage light in very good condition. Bardwell McAlister
was one of 3 predominant major brands of studio lights that
illuminated American and Canadian film and commercial sets
during the 50’s and 60’s.
This fixture has been converted to a household (up to 100w) bulb
and socket as the original 1000w light source ran hot enough
to fry eggs and give you a tan at the same time.
Its sale includes its original height adjustable (up to 8 feet) wheeled
metal stand, a convenient off/on click switch, a new Fresnel lens
and a generous length of cable that is slung from the lamp’s yoke.
It is a totally functional fixture featuring a lever that adjusts the beam’s
intensity from spot to flood. It still sports the original factory decals
on the base of the casing. The paint is very good - no dents or scrapes.
There are many other unique and original fixtures to discover through
the link below or my other ads.
Now located in downtown Belleville. Will deliver for a reasonable fee.
