A floor lamp that was used in a doctor's office or hospital. Mid-century design.
The stainless steel floor lamp is painted off-white, typical of medical furniture. It's lightweight and stands 47 inches high. The rounded, triangular head swivels 360 degrees, and the light fixture can also be adjusted with a knob on the front of the head. The receptacle takes a standard light bulb and one is included with the lamp.
Heavy-duty cord and a safe, up-to-date 15 amp, 125 volt, 3-prong plug.
As is standard with these lamps, there is a second, smaller light bulb with a separate switch that casts light below. It is contained in the housing attached to the pole. So, the two lights can be used together or independently of each other.
Condition is consistent with age. There is wear and scratches and the base shows rust.
