I'm looking for an insulation contractor to install dense pack blown-in cellulose insulation into the walls of a superinsulated passive solar house in Flatrock. The insulation can be applied wet or dry, whichever is the choice of the contractor. The insulation must be cellulose... I'm not interested in fiberglass batts, rockwool or spray foam.
The stud cavity for the main living area is a "Modified Larsen Truss" structure, full 12" thick and is open between bays and between the 1st and 2nd floors. There is approximately 2210 square feet to do.
The garage walls are 9.25" thick and constructed with a double-track staggered stud configuration on common plates. There is approximately 980 square feet to insulate in the garage.
Framing on the house is mostly completed. This is a slow-moving homeowner built house that probably won't be ready for insulation until early in the summer of 2017.
Please contact me if you're interested in this job. I'm looking for a skilled and professional installer with a good attention to detail. A written contract must also be signed before starting work.
Thanks for looking.
