The ring is unreal,triplet black opal.18 karat gold ,size 5 and jeweller informed me ,ring can be sized up 2 sizes only .The setting is gorgeous almost an antique look.It really is spectacular .Triplets are more durable and the stone alone ,u can research can cost up to 1000 dollars .Great deal .Solid ,all intact ,just parting with alot of my stuff ,and my fingers swell now .U will be very impressed i can guarantee that .No the ring has not been appraised .It is well worth more than what i am asking .I can send by mail ,u pay postage ,then if u decide u infact want ring ,i will go to post office to request safest and most secure way to mail the ring .It is hard to see the 18 k on ring but it is there jeweller said .My eyes even with magnifying glass i cant see it well anymore .Barely worn ,given to me by an aunt who had money .Serious inquiries only .
