**Please note: Rabbits are a long-term commitment (potentially 8-12 years), so if are simply looking for some adorable Easter bunnies, feel free to contact us about our Bunnies in a Basket (aka Borrow some Bunnies) program. Bunnies may be rented for anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks with supplies included.
Turin was born in a litter of 5 on February 3rd, 2024 to Mama Tauriel (large New Zealand) and Sir Sandford the Flemish (12+lbs Flemish Giant). He and his brothers will be available after March 16th.
While they all live in the main colony with their Mama and Aunties, Turin is frequently brought into the house for snuggles with the kids and is very used to being pampered.
We prefer to see two (or more!) bunnies go together as they are very social animals, and well suited either as free-roaming house bunnies or for a backyard colony. While we feel this is ideal, some have a bit of a personality change around puberty and require being spayed/neutered to alter the negative behaviours.
As this can be cost-prohibitive, we do sell single rabbits if they'll be free-froaming house bunnies (or joining bunnies already present.)
We currently have his brothers from this litter, and Flemish x Continental kits (who won't be ready to go until after March 23rd) that would match well with Turin.
Our rabbits are raised in outdoor colonies (females and babies in one, males in their own enclosures with does visiting for a few weeks during breeding, etc.). The base of our rabbits’ diet is a blend of pellets with added seeds, along with fresh greens and tree branches, hay, fruit, and veggies.
We are located right near Fowlers Corners. Delivery can be arranged within Peterborough, Lindsay, Millbrook, Lakefield, etc. for a small fee.
