Ridley Bronze Turkey HATCHING EGGS

We have Ridley Bronze turkey hatching eggs available. Fertility checks have been 90%+ the price is per dozen, and shipping is extra. We are proud members of Heritage Livestock Canada in efforts to increase the number of Ridleys across Canada. Ridley Bronze are the clowns of the homestead. These turkeys have quirky personalities and spend their days entertaining all by monkeying in the trees or chasing grasshoppers. Our bronze flock has 3 genetic lines from farms across B.C. Ridleys are a critically endangered turkey breed. Originating in the Canadian prairies, these birds were made for our harsh winters and hot summers. All our turkey hens go broody and raise their own poults in the spring/summer months. Turkeys are slower to mature and will start laying around 9 months of age. They are excellent layers and will lay an egg almost every day! Our hens average 15 lbs and our Toms are typically 20-25 lbs but will get close to 30 lbs as they age. Turkeys do have a long lifespan and can live 10-15 years. In addition to the large quantity of eggs and the meat they provide, they are also great guardians for your farm. These turkeys can ward off unwanted pests like crows, ravens, hawks, and foxes. Ridleys are an all-around bird for any homestead! Hatching Eggs are $100 per dozen. Contact us to order!
