Yamaha's WR250F is a real sweet spot bike for off-road riders: higher spec than many other trail bikes and more approachable than full-fledged enduros and MX bikes. This late-model example has been very lightly used and shows very well as a result; a great way to see all that the central Ontario trail system has to offer!

The WR250F is the machine of choice for top enduro racers and super-fast trail riders in Canada and around the globe. Based on the previous-generation YZ250F motocrosser and YZ250FX cross-country racer, the 2021 WR250F is even better at what it has always been best at—carving through single-track like a hot knife through butter.

RACE-READY PERFORMANCE

Compared to the former WR250F engine, the current design is more powerful at higher rpm and delivers stronger power right through the rev range, making it a serious podium contender out of the box.

REFINED CHASSIS

The WR250F was redesigned in 2020 to provide superior handling and increased steering precision while retaining high speed stability. Using the YZ250F motocrosser's bilateral beam frame and KYB suspension as the foundation, the WR250F features enduro-specific settings and components for optimized performance in its natural habitat.

ENGINE

Rearward-slanted, reversed cylinder design.

"Reversed" engine design (FI system is front-mounted, exhaust exits from rear of cylinder).

Electric start with auto decompression system (no kick starter). Unit can be re-started in any gear.

Lightweight titanium valves and optimized valve springs.

Automatic cam chain tensioner.

CHASSIS/SUSPENSION

Compact bilateral beam aluminum frame.

Lightweight, tapered aluminum swingarm.

Lightweight detachable rear sub frame.

YZ250F-based, 48 mm, adjustable, inverted, Kayaba "SSS" cartridge fork offers 310 mm (12.2") of wheel travel.

Large wrap-around plastic fork protectors provide excellent lower fork tube protection.
