both these cams are in excellent condition , I have measured them very carefully , using a micrometer & vernia gauge , there is ZERO ware on either of them .
One was in my 97 springer with only 8,000 miles on it & also has the needle bearing which is re-usable ( new ones are about $15.00) .
the other one I bought for an engine re-build that didn't happen (sold the bike) .
These cams are the very best for all around pull (torque)they pull from 1500 right up to 6,000 rpm. without back pressure re-quired.
I had a higher lift cam installed on my an(ev3) I think , yes you get a wee bit more power at about 3,500 rpm. but you need back pressure therefore losing that beautiful sound only a HOG can make , in my opinion these are the very best Andrews cams ( unless you are drag racing ) the diameter of the gear is 3.725in. 44 teeth, Not measured with .108in. pins
journal is .8125in.the other side into the casing is 1.065in.
The lobes measure 1.360in as best I can measure without a lathe between centres & a dial test indicator , but there is ZERO ware .
The ev27 Andrews cam are bolt in fast open & close Designed to produce a very broad power band from 1500rpm to 6,000rpm without valve flout, lift is .495 & quick duration .the price for the one with bearing is $80.00 the other is $75.00. ty 4 looking .
