About Me: I received my Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria and have worked as a private music instructor for sixteen years. Along with teaching private lessons, I work as a contracted band clinician with the Calgary Board of Education, the Calgary Catholic School Board and a variety of private institutions around the city. I also teach preschool music classes and have worked with students aged 2 to 72, of all levels and abilities.

I teach my students the fundamental skills and techniques necessary to be successful on their instrument, encourage independent thought and creativity through musical interpretation, as well as develop respect for and interest in classical music.

I focus mainly on pieces, studies and scales, but am always available to help prepare band music and school playing tests.

I am very passionate about music and love to share this passion with my students.
