*Professional Singer and Vocal Coach in SE Calgary now accepting new students.* With 22 years of teaching experience and over 30 years of performing -- Singing and helping others find confidence with their voice is what I love to do! The techniques I teach help to build a solid foundation for a healthy, happy voice, which can be applied to ANY genre of music. I offer beginner to advanced singing lessons, as well as voice coachings for anyone wanting to improve their speaking/presentation voice. I strongly believe that exploration and body awareness is key. Helping students explore their instrument through a variety of activities, such as: vocal play, resonators, sound effects, body mapping, breathing, acting, alignment, emotion and enjoyable music – creates in strong connection and confidence with their voice. They learn how it FEELS to sing properly and not rely only on the sound.

My teaching experience extends to: - Audition preparation (solos, musicals, competitions, plays etc.) - Assisting in recovering from vocal injuries and misuse - Harmony work and Interval training - Stage presence - Acting - Helping professionals develop a clear, confident speaking voice for presentations, podcasts, online videos, public speaking and daily interactions - Rock band coachings, recording prep, song writing feedback, harmony work - Working with children - Opera and Classical music performance and coaching

I've spent years on professional opera stages, in concerts, doing musical theatre, in jazz groups, festivals and choirs. Over two decades of my own vocal training with some of the best coaches in North America, has allowed me to select the best techniques from countless teachers and pass them on to my students.
