Piano Lessons: Experienced Teacher, Free Trial Lesson, Central!

Hello! My name is Stefan Kijek. I am a professional performing pianist with 15 years experience teaching piano lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds, from beginners to industry professionals. I specialize in teaching classical and jazz piano, as well as improvisation and composition.

Lessons:

All levels and styles are welcome, young and old! I tailor the lessons to your interests and use my knowledge to support your direction, style, and growth. Typically we would decide what that might look like in a trial lesson, and build a plan from there. I emphasize correct technique and effective methodology, as learning music can be difficult at times and requires a strategy for success.

A free half hour trial lesson can be booked at your convenience.

Rates:

$25/half hour $37.50/45 mins $50/1 hr

Lessons are booked/charged per month (usually 4 per); 1 lesson a week is best.

Credentials:

-Diploma, Jazz Performance, Grant MacEwan University -Royal Conservatory Grade 9 Piano -Grade 3 theory/keyboard harmony -Bandleader, composer, "The Temporalists" (Piano trio). Our 1st album "Overgrowth" is available online via spotify, itunes, youtube, or our website, TheTemporalists.com. -20 years gigging/performance experience in most genres, specializing in original jazz -Lovely studio space located just off of Whyte Ave (Strathcona area)
