Our client in the Ingersoll location are seeking a Administrator to assist in the Material's Department. This position is starting as a temporary contract role.
This position is a 6 day mandatory role right now on a days / afternoon shift.

- Follow up on all purchased parts to ensure shipments are on-time
- Reporting data entry for production requirements
- Follow-up with suppliers and/or carriers and arrange expedites when required
- Request part counts from plant floor and LOC whenever any deviation from the normal material flow plan occurs and respond accordingly
- Coordinate and/or arrange for alternative sources of material and request for spot buys if supplier is unable to provide a part when required
- Other duties as assigned

Skills and Aptitudes:
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong computer skills (Excel, and Word), knowledge of MGO Software is an asset
- Great communications (oral and written) skills
- Great attention to detail
- High school diploma (post secondary education in business, logistics, or transportation a definite asset)
- Ability to take initiative and operate effectively in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work straight Afternoon shift after training.
