Product Overview

The Atlas TC755 is our "professional tire dealer" or " large car dealership " tilt back wheel clamp tire changer. The clamping range of the Atlas TC 755 allows the operator to "clamp" most 26 inch chrome rims without purchasing additional adapter sets. The optional Atlas Motorcycle/ATV Flip Adapters extend the outer clamping jaw measurement to over 32 inches.

The turntable jaws (which can be covered with the standard protective plastic inserts) hold the rim securely without damaging the surface of the rim.

The Atlas TC 755 comes standard with an inflator hose and gauge and powerful built-in Bead Blaster to seat the beads on the most stubborn tires.

Bead blaster
Adjustable bead breaker
Air inflater
Tilting column
3 position jaws
90-110 psi

Why Buy A Tilt Back Tire Changer?

The " tilt back " feature of the Atlas 755 wheel clamp tire changer allows the turntable of the tire changer to be fully " exposed " , and will handle tire diameters of over 47 inches. If you are presently changing expensive chrome wheels; the " exposed " turntable allows the operator a larger work area and helps to prevent damage to the rim when setting the rim on the turntable.

Tilt back tire changers offer several advantages over the swing arm wheel clamp tire changers. If you are a high volume shop, the tilt back feature reduces operator fatigue because the head assembly is automatically (operator only needs to press a foot pedal) moved away when the wheel assembly is ready to be removed from the turntable. When the next wheel is placed on the turntable, the operator presses the foot pedal, and the arm swings back in to the correct position automatically.

The Atlas 755 tilt back wheel clamp tire changer is the perfect choice fo rall professional service shops that specialize in changing low-profile high performance stiff sidewall tires. The position of the mount/demount head (12 o'clock) allows the operator to stand in front of the machine with easy access to all pedals and to both assist arms (if the Atlas 755 is equipped with the DAA).

The left hand and right hand assist arms are in the perfect position to assist in the mounting and demounting of run flat tires.

Benefits of our Atlas TC755 Tire Changer

Bead Blaster:
The revolutionary new Bead Blaster design on our Atlas tire changers provides an enormous amount of air pressure and volume (blasting air through the air holes positioned near the movable turntable jaws) to seat the beads on most stiff sidewall tires. This tremendous volume of air, directed to the inside cavity of the tire, forces both tire sidewalls to press solidly against the wheel so that the tire will " hold air " .

The large external air tank reservoir holds up to 75% more compressed air than most competitive tire changers. The external tank is connected to the unique valve system which utilizes an oversized hose system to deliver a huge amount of air pressure and volume in a short amount of time.

Please remember to never use more than 50 PSI when inflating the tire to seat the bead. NEVER exceed the maximum inflation pressure recommended by the tire manufacture.

Optional Adapters:
The Atlas TC 755 wheel clamp tire changer can be equipped with the Atlas Motorcycle/ATV Flip Adapters .

NOTE: The use of the Atlas Motorcycle/ATV Flip Adapters prevents the use of the air bead blast feature on this tire changer. The adapters are slid over the standard wheel clamp jaws on the tire changer table and will block the holes through which the bead blast shoots the jets of air. This means that you will not be able to use the Bead Blaster to help you reseat the bead of a tire when you are using the adapter set.

The Atlas brand of wheel balancers and wheel clamp tire changers are designed for everyday commercial use. We have sold Accu-turn ®, Hofmann ®, Corghi ®, All-Tool ®, Beissbarth ®, and Ranger ® tire changing and wheel balancing equipment over the last 30 years we have been in business. The Atlas brand compares favorably with all these companies in quality.

Only the price is different.

1 - Left (LH) Assist Arm -
The ATLAS LH assist arm is designed to be mounted on the ATLAS TC289, Atlas TC229 wheel clamp tire changers. The pneumatic powered LH assist arm is a must have accessory to mount and demount many of the stiff sidewall tires found on today's vehicles. This Atlas LH assist arm provides robotic power, allowing the operator to keep both hands free during the tire changing operation. The disc and rotating press arm exert an enormous amount of pressure on the sidewall of the tire so the operator can mount or demount a stiff sidewall tire.
The pneumatic power cylinder produces sufficient power to allow the properly positioned pressure disc to exert both upward and downward pressure (depending if you are mounting or demounting) on the sidewall of the tire. You must exert enough (upward or downward) pressure on the tire's sidewall to effectively move the bead of the tire close to thecenter of the rim. Many of the cheaper arm assemblies are no more than an air cylinder mounted above the turntable. These low cost air cylinder arm assemblies exert only a minimal amount of downward pressure. This downward pressure is needed for mounting the tire on the wheel, but is ineffective when you need to dismount the tire from the wheel. The lifting disc of the Atlas LH assist arm exerts an enormous amount of controlled pressure to gently force the lower bead up into the wheel cavity, so that the tire can be removed. The bead is held below the lip of the rim by the rotating bead press adapter as the tire is being mounted.
The control toggle switch is positioned for maximum accessibility and ease of use.
The Atlas LH assist arm may be purchased at the same time you purchase your ATLAS TC289, Atlas TC229, Atlas TC221 or ATLAS TC755 wheel clamp tire changer, or you can purchase an Atlas tire changer now; and add the Atlas LH assist arm at a later date

2 - Right (RH) Assist Arm -
The Atlas RH assist arm is the perfect complement to the Atlas LH assist arm when you need to change extremely stiff sidewall and run flat tires. As the old saying goes "two hands (heads?) are better than one". The addition of the Atlas RH assist arm (in conjunction with the Atlas LH assist arm) provides unparalleled power to mount and demount the most stubborn tires.
The Atlas RH assist arm has a separate toggle control valve that allows the operator to position the arm assembly to the correct height and then move the attachments (up or down) by applying air pressure and forcing the stiff sidewall part of the tire either on the rim or off the rim.
The oversized polyurethane bead roller moves easily across the horizontal slides to the correct position over the bead of the tire. This bead roller exerts a downward pressure on the bead so the bead stays below the rim lip as it passes over the mount/demount head.
Hose connections are well marked and the hoses are enclosed in a protective cover to prevent damage
