Heizohack HM 6-300 PTO Chipper 12" - Biomass, Bedding

Heavy duty drum style wood chipper made by Heizomat in Germany.

3-point hitch model, excellent shape, only 44h on it. Has a 1m chute extension, but can sell without the extension.

It has a screen for producing a different size of chips. Works great for heating systems, animal bedding, biochar production, blueberry farms or anything that needs consistent chip size.

You can make large chips, medium chips, small chips and tiny chips by simply changing the screen. See picture of chips in plastic tub for smallest chips it can make. I have the medium screen, see picture of my chips bunker.

The steel conveyor belt and pressure roller make it super easy to feed and it automatically backs off the feed if the drum speed drops.

This model is the HM 6-300 that has 6 blades, can handle up to 12” diameter trunks and can run off a 540 or 1000 PTO. Throat is 18'' wide.

You can run it with a 60 hp tractor but it weighs 4,000 lbs so I’d suggest something 100 hp or bigger if you want to be able to move it using the 3-point hitch. Easy to mount on a chassis.

Comes with an extra set of new blades which are easy to change. You can sharpen the blades in place in about 5 minutes. Comes with all the tools needed for servicing, hydraulic oil filter and new curtains.
