Lead Warehouse Associate

Job Description:Job Description Algo Communication Products, an established telecommunication solutions leader located in South Burnaby, is looking for a Lead Warehouse Associate to join our team in a full-time capacity. This position is available immediately for the right person. You are: a highly organized, self-starter who loves a challenge and is accountable to meet your deadlines and reach your goals. Reliable transportation is desirable as the location is not readily accessed by transit. You are comfortable with technology; your skills and experience extend to all Warehouse related activities. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and get things done. You will lead a team of three team members. Duties and responsibilities: · Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse associates in receiving and inventory control and effective warehouse management. · Ensure that all incoming shipments are received, inspected, and verified according to company standards and procedures. · Ensure that all outgoing shipments are prepared, packed, and dispatched according to supplier specifications and delivery schedules. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, movements, and adjustments. · Conduct regular physical inventory cycle counts and report any discrepancies. · Ensure compliance with company’s health and safety regulations and best practices in the warehouse. · Ensure that the warehouse remains clean and organized, maintaining designated areas (staging, receiving, QA, PO exceptions, kitting etc.) · Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations and be the point person from our 2 warehouses. Education: Post Secondary education. Experience: 2-4 years’ experience in a similar role and scope. Knowledge: · Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Suite. · Prior experience with SAP or ERP system. · Forklift (Counterbalance) certification is an asset or related experience is required. Skills & Abilities: · Acute attention to detail. · Ability to lift up to 50 Lbs. · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Self-motivated team player capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced work environment Company Description Algo Communication Products Ltd. is an innovative technology company manufacturing and supplying IP audio and video communication products to our global customers.
