Our Hamilton, Ontario plant manufactures Ingersoll disc blades and coulters that improve farm productivity and profitability, and we are looking for Millwrights to join our multi-trade team and support our manufacturing facility. Our Total Rewards include:$40.82/hour$.35/hour COLA$1.50/hour shift premium12-hour bi-weekly rotating shifts (2 weeks days/2 weeks nights), alternative shift (8 hour & 10 hour)1.5 time for 1st overtime occurrence, 2 times for second occurrence and beyond100% Group Benefits Employer Paid (premiums)Healthcare Spending Account $2500/Single, $5000/FamilyAll PPE is provided Time Away From Work:FloatersVacationOpportunity for 1-week banked vacation Your Future:Up to 5% Employee RRSP ContributionUp to 5% Employer RRSP Match5% RRSP Gift Agrisolutions Regardless of Employee Contribution What you will do:Work collaboratively as part of a team made up of another millwright and electricianFollow all plant, and safety procedures and wear all required personal protective equipmentRead blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresInspect, examine, investigate, clean, assemble and repair irregularities and malfunctions of machinery and equipment (i.e., presses, conveyors, monorails systems, pumps furnaces, and compressors)Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as jacks, forklifts, and cranes to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery and equipment.Assist with proactive and reactive troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment to minimize production downtime and delaysActively contribute to the preventative maintenance program by providing recommendations for improvement What you bring,Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification (433A)Experience working safely in a heavy industrial environmentWorking knowledge of OHSA and relevant legislation (e.g., WHMIS, Lockout, Confined Space, Working at Heights, etc.) and willingness to successfully complete employer-paid trainingAble to prioritize urgency based on production requirementsConduct and complete scheduled preventative maintenance work orders, tasks, and checklistsAccurately document the steps taken and the duration required to diagnose and resolve issuesAbility to work independently and as a contributing, collaborating team memberBasic computer literacySafely perform the physical demands of this position including standing, bending, crouching, overhead work, heavy lifting and carrying.Possession of a valid G1 (Gas Fitter) certificate would be considered an assetPossession of CWB Welding Certificate (W47.1) would be considered an asset Agrisolutions encourages all qualified candidates to apply, and we thank you in advance for your application.
