Analyst, Shared Services (Bilingual)

The Analyst, Shared Services is accountable to managers, team leaders and staff to efficiently deliver HR operational support and exceptional customer service. The Shared Services team will be accountable for the intake of all front-line inquiries into HR and providing resolution to issues within the scope of their control. Such inquiries include those related to HR programs and practices including pension and benefits administration, general inquiries from leaders, staff and prospective employees, recruitment process support and forms flow questions. The Shared Services team will provide support through one central phone line and email and provide back-office support to the organizational development and total rewards. Senior Shared Services Analysts will manage more complex employee relations issues in partnership with the HRBP.

The Analyst, Shared Services will work collaboratively with the talent acquisition function, the organizational development function, total rewards, payroll and HR Business Partners to foster a positive experience for new and existing Economical employees.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide services, support and counsel to respective clients across Economical with primary focus on the Montreal process
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance by using lean thinking and problem solving skills and raising recommendations to a leader&'s attention
  • Work collaboratively within a team to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for key Human Resources processes
  • Provide consultation to employees as it pertains to Human Resources processes and coaching/counseling
  • Ensure the integrity of Human Resources records and HRIS data
  • Support the deployment, administration and sustainment of new and existing HR programsParticipate in and at times lead business/policy process improvement initiatives
  • Prepare relevant French documentation as required

  • Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously

  • Strong desire to continuously improve and help others improve
  • Must have a customer service approach to work
  • Must be dependable, pro-active and flexible
  • CHRP/CHRL completed or in progress a definite asset
  • Must be bilingual in French and English
