The Position:

At this time we are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, Marketing and Communications Manager with a proven ability to provide exceptional business results and promote brand awareness through social media and various marketing initiatives. This person will be responsible for maintaining effective communications with other departments, sales reps, management, dealers and other external parties. They will assist with product development and distribution, organizing and managing various events, and ensuring that the overall communications and marketing goals of the organization are achieved.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive product presence in the marketplace through a variety of media initiatives (social media, website, facebook, twitter, newsletters, partnerships, promotional events)
• Regularly maintain and update website and all relevant information and execute excellent quality control over all content
• Coordinate the creation, production and distribution of all marketing collateral such as price lists, flyers , and various promotions
• Coordinate and help organize all sales events, marketing events and assist with company functions
• Monitor media reviews and look for new marketing opportunities
• Track campaigns, google analytics and results from promotions and prepare performance analysis reports
• Maintain inventory of marketing material; oversee the preparation of samples, ordering business cards, brochures, dealer and designer booklets and update all relevant information
• Manage marketing project timelines and liaison with all parties involved
• Maintain a list of tradeshows across Canada and ensure registration dates are not missed
• Keep track of memberships, subscriptions and advertisements and look after renewals
• Compile and maintain information on competitor's products, prices, specs, manufacturers etc. and share with sales reps. and management
• Maintain a referral library; videos, testimonials, references, installation photos and locations that can be visited by end users etc.
• Demonstrate in depth product knowledge and assists dealers, end users, and sales reps. in finding answers to product related questions (received via email, telephone and website)
• Promote products in the market place and looks for new sales opportunities.
• Analyze market's potential and provide management with various statistics and relevant data.
• Coordinate all aspects of trade shows and special events/sponsorships; necessary paperwork for registration, lighting, shipping logistics, installation and dismantling of booth, and organizing event personnel
• Assist in the building of various sales and marketing presentations in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Other duties that may arise

Essential Qualifications:

• Degree in marketing and communications, along with an education and background in business
• At least 3 years working experience in a similar position, in a related industry
• Advanced experience with overall computer operations and various technology
• Exceptional English communication skills both in verbal and written format
• Working experience with InDesign publishing software
• Working experience with Adobe Photoshop and Publisher
• Advanced experience with website administration and WordPress
• Advanced knowledge and working experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and Power point
• Excellent supervisory skills; able to supervise, motivate and support sales reps. and team members
• Independent, high-energy, self-motivated, team player willing to work collaboratively towards achieving the strategic goals of the company
• Excellent understanding of marketing strategies -- developing, implementing and executing
• Flexible, adaptable and able to handle a variety of tasks and feedback
• Proficient with all modes of social media
• Demonstrates initiative, follow-through and problem-solving ability
• Must be creative , both in written communications as well as advertising media and product design
• Detailed and accuracy oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and growth oriented environment
• Goal and deadline driven with an independent, results-oriented attitude
