We are an established and growing law firm located in North Vancouver. We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer or real estate paralegal to join our Real Estate Team (consisting of Lawyers, Senior Conveyancers, Junior Conveyancers and Paralegals).

POSITION 1: SENIOR CONVEYANCER/PARALEGAL

Ideal skills and qualities:
• A minimum 5 years' experience in residential real estate transactions in British Columbia.
• Some experience in commercial real estate and lending transactions would be an asset.
• Excellent computer skills including Word and Adobe.
• Knowledge of EConveyance is a strong asset.
• Strong organization skills.
• A proactive work style.
• Strong team player but also able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• The ability to train and mentor junior staff.
• Attention to detail with very high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and work under time pressure.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Written and telephone communications with individual, corporate and institutional clients
• Conduct searches and due-diligence
• Preparation of conveyancing documentation relating to transactions using Web applications, Word & Acrobat.
• Electronically file documents in Land Title Office through myLTSA
• Handle associated file organization and administrative tasks


POSITION 2: JUNIOR CONVEYANCER/PARALEGAL -

• 1-3 years' experience in residential real estate transactions in British Columbia.
• Some experience in commercial real estate and lending transactions would be an asset.
• Excellent computer skills including Word and Adobe.
• Knowledge of EConveyance would be a strong asset.
• Strong organization skills.
• A proactive work style.
• Strong team player but also able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to be trained and mentored by senior staff.
