About the Role|
An exciting opportunity now exists for a hands-on Dining Room Manager to lead the dietary service team of this Premier Retirement Community. This community is a busy bustling place and will be expanding in the near future!
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient management and coordination of all front of the house food and beverage service activities, as well as the promotion of efficiency, professionalism and hospitality in these areas at an infallible level.
With a commitment to exceptional service delivery, the prospect of maintaining the high standards for which Adelaide Place is renowned, this is a challenge you do not want to miss. The ideal applicant will be a result’s focused individual, with previous hospitality management experience and a wealth of experience supporting a team, preferably all in a retirement community setting.
Leading a dedicated team, you will demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to motivate others to achieve exceptional standards. You will be the type of person not afraid to roll up your sleeves and lead by example while also maintaining a high level of administrative accuracy. You have experience working in banquet services and organizing the food service component of special events. Additionally, you will possess sound knowledge of Human Resources practices, budget and stock management, and the operational and legislative requirements relating to food service.
The successful candidate will uphold a friendly and professional demeanour at all times while exhibiting a genuine passion towards superior customer service. Excellent presentation, interpersonal and communications skills are required as you will work closely with the back of house team to achieve a standard of excellence.
