Original over 100yr patina, never polished HOWEVER, if you choose to clean, easiest way, use old pot, boil water and baking soda over low heat. Place items in boiling water with tongs for a few minutes. Remove place on towel to dry. This method is the safest, but remember it will change the colour of the patina.
