Breed: New Zealand-Holland LopAge: Patch: 2 years // Blossom: 1 years Sex: Neutered Male // Spayed Female Breed: Patch: New Zealand mix // Blossom: Harlequin Lop Medical Treatments/Conditions: Patch has had his rear left leg amputated Details: Patch and Blossom are a very fun duo who have been transferred to us from another rescue. These two sweethearts have unique and individual personalities that complement each other. They love lounging around together and despite being shy, they become inquisitive and sometimes even bold for their favorite treats. Patch was formally a Hoppy Hearts rabbit, surrendered with his brothers, sisters and mother after living in Tupperware totes. Patch was significantly smaller than the rest of his family, and he had his foot amputated from an unknown cause. Patch was in a large amount of pain and we asked Dancing Rabbit Refuge for help when we felt unprepared to find proper vetting for him. Patch had his rear leg surgically amputated and now lives pain free; he zips around, begs for treats and doesn't miss his leg for a second. Patch does require some consideration when it comes to housing (ask us for more details), and requires oxbow joint supplements to keep him feeling great. Blossom was surrendered to us from a breeder when she was not gaining weight. The breeder loved her beautiful colouring and wanted to see if we could help, rather than have her destroyed. Blossom is a perfectly healthy, happy girl who loves being at the side of her husbun Patch. Blossom is people shy, but with patience and love, she begins to warm up (treats help!).
