People choose not to see men and women like the homeless man I put up who is in the photos. He was actually only 1 1/2 blocks off the main street living in the woods and shunned by society and people everywhere. Rather than chase him away like many others had and other business owners did; I took him in and turned his life around at my expense.

UPDATE September 9th: I posted this ad at the start of the month on Toronto kijiji and other location including here and as well on Facebook. Since then; there have been many Canadians that read my ads and other postings. Only one person from Quebec made a donation. He can truly say, "I Care" especially since the ads are not posted in Quebec nor anywhere near his location. No one has offered assistance nor help of any sort.

Not one person has shared this link or any other of my links or ads.

Also; it is sad to think that some people have complained about my ads and several have been removed by kijiji.

There is a Progression Update and Responses at bottom - September 1-2016

I am trying to help the homeless and those in desperate need. I appreciate any assistance of any kind.

Why me and what have I done in the past and do to help those in need and the homeless?

I fax thousands of retail stores every year during November and December with messages like these:

There is less than 4 months to Christmas and that means winter and frozen pipes are coming soon !! It also means that the growing numbers of homeless people in Canada and those that are barely capable of making through a month will have greater demands and strains on their budgets.

I write to over 10 thousand retailers as a company owner they are familiar with and purchase product from using email and/or faxes telling them this:

Some of you will remember that we are very active in helping others.

Some will remember our promotion asking those who could donate time, or a kettle location, or money to support the Salvation Army.
Still others may recall our “Lord help me make it through the night”; drinking and driving awareness campaign and online song of that name.
This is what we did last year: We directly helped change the lives of 4 people.

We also built, housed, fed, and clothed a homeless man for nearly the entire year until we had turned his life around. He is now a proud fully functioning parent and grandpa.

When I tried as a business owner to obtain assistance for these individual people from the various Canadian safety networks, I was unable to get assistance of any kind from any source. I paid for everything myself. Not the United Way, not the Salvation Army, nor any Food Bank, nor any other organization known.

It was myself alone with my family using my money to help these people. I want to and will keep helping people. I can use my building and convert more square footage. The kitchen/lunchroom can be equipped to feed local people. Any money made can be used (after operating cost) to feed, cloth, counsel etc. the homeless we help and house. With your help I can make this effort grow. Without your help I can sell the building and try to start doing things manner.

This year we are doing more which in time should help people from coast to coast.

You can read about it at: woodsmansinternational.com/I-CARE.htm

Homelessness, hunger, suicide, prostituting ones self just to eat, weight loss because of stress and poverty are very real issues in Canada for hundreds of thousands every day of the year.

I know together we can change this for many by pulling together.

To many people in need fall through the societal safety net and in most cases their lives are forever changed and destroyed. Poverty changes their self-esteem and self-worth, and many do things they never would have done if the circumstances had been different.

I am asking for help on behalf of these people. I am willing to take on the challenge of creating a company and foundation to address this issue.

I will use my 25 years of hard knocks business skills and connections and rather then sell my building as seen here, I will use it to host and begin this massive undertaking. I posted this on my Facebook and have received only a few thumbs up today. I would have received lots had I wrote that the Toronto Blue Jays or the Maple Leafs had won a game.

Billion dollar corporations that own sports teams worth nearly that are always receiving huge amounts of money from other billion dollar companies through sponsorship for advertising rights. It doesn't make the game ticket cost go down nor the cost of a drink or bite to eat for the people called fans..

Homelessness could be eliminated with just one corporate sponsor of proportionate size.

I am however continuing to write companies and other various organizations to assist in getting things going and I have my computer sending out faxes to thousands of businesses and retailers. Any help and or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you.

Thus far I have only received "Thumbs up" on Facebook and one donation only. There has not been any suggestions or recommendations offered, nor has anyone made any contribution of any kind.

The only feedback I received is below.

I wrote one Canadian company and sadly this is a couple of excerpts from the actual response I received:

I am very busy selling the Holiday season for my business.

Let me be clear, I am not interested in your proposal. I am too busy with a very successful company. We do not want to discuss any of your ideas with you.
Quite frankly, I have no idea what you are talking about - nor am I the slightest bit interested.

Should you choose to go into the cookie business; which I find bizarre, go ahead.
I do not have the time or the inclination to mentor you.

Kindly leave us alone.

* The company owners name and company name have been removed to prevent possible legal action. I will say however that upon conducting some minor research I read the online story of this company being mentored. This company owner also boast of having been at the Vancouver Olympics however I was unable to find documentation that this company sponsored anything.

So instead of passing on email that show the wealth of some actor or actress you would share this then perhaps I can help out far more people before my time comes to pass.
