Horse Training

Since spring will be fast approaching due to this warm weather! I will be taking on a some client horses for the month of May and June training season. So far Im only aiming for 2 months but do have wiggle room for possibly 3 months if someone wants 3 months on the said horse. As my studies in Calagry come to an end and so do my international travels. I will be settling the summer at a remote location with a huge outdoor riding facility with no other boarders and endless trails north of Fort St John. Help with hauling can be arranged. I am planning to do a Peace River- GP-Dawson Creek loop prior to the beginning of May. My previous training history has included animal acupuncture and body work diploma which is included! Internationally riding horses for three years in Australia riding polo horses, feral ranch 2yos at remote cattle stations and pen riding at a wagu feedlot. Also the summer of 2019 I took on 5 outside horses in Peace River prior to my Calgary studies where I can provide references as my customers turned out to be life long friends. Some other thing that will be included are: -Two riding lessons - Ridden in a well maintained riding arena - Individual pens if needed - Being around horses that are on a call to catch basis - Rope work which includes lariat and laying down procedures - Basic groundwork - Riding with leg - working off front and hind end on the ground and in the saddle while maintaining a forward step - Haunches will be used, flying lead changes ect - Individualized programs are prompted! - I support blanketing! So bring your blankets - Video and photo updates of course - Hoof trimming at extra cost

Polework, barrels, roping (basics no tying off), trail riding, refresher, two year olds who need to be packed. All is welcome as the fundamentals for these steps are all important. I ride western, english and bareback. I am able to help you find a bit for your horse, a bosal, heck I don't care if you ride the horse in a halter. I start all my personal horses in a halter. I have saddles with mule bars to 8.5 gullets. We're bound to make something work. I do require teeth done in the past 2 years if we are looking for a bit that fits your horse.
