This old electrical octopus is a super high quality item that came off a lathe machine tool with 3/4 HP 3-phase motor I really don't know what it is, perhaps a relay and capacitor bank, I think Allen West was eventually bought by GE. I suspect if you had to buy a new one of these "switches" it's be more than $500.
