Successful enough that Shure completely bought them out. These are the original Naked Eyes. The new Shure units sell about $1700 CAD each .
Amazing on guitar amps, but I've used them on background vocals, acoustic guitar, and other instruments too.
Very cool, smooth sound, and they're dual voiced, so you get a little more versatility than most ribbon mics.
