A leading Canadian Consumer Packaged Goods company has an immediate opening for a Website/ E-commerce Administrator to work with the corporate website developers and provide Canadian expertise on function and design changes to Canadian websites.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
•Test function and design changes to the websites and support testing of any other website changes if volume or resources limitations require it.
•Act as a Project Manager when adding significant new functionality to the websites.
•Monitor SEO health and develop methods to improve our performance.
•Update product data for all websites by seasonal deadlines. Work with development resources to add pages when necessary.
•Provide expertise to setup and collect metrics to support web site optimization monitoring and advertising campaign metrics.
•Develop marketing initiatives to draw consumers to our websites and work with Marketing to execute.
•Manage sales program dollars and develop promotions to meet online sales targets.
•Support our mass retailers by providing them rich product content. Request regular website statistics to ensure our products are being well represented on their websites. Provide them with insights and improvement ideas when possible.
•Work with the ecommerce team to develop standardized site metrics to support identifying improvement opportunities and successes for online sales. Collect these for assigned sites and provide them to others to summarize.
•Execute research initiatives with agencies, corporate resources or other external services as defined by Ecommerce or Marketing Directors.
•Review external statistics, analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits.
Your skills and previous experience include:
•University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science with specialization in Web Design and or 3 to 5 years in a similar role.
•Advanced user in Excel and data mining tools.
•Understanding of Adobe products, Dreamweaver or other web design programs.
•Bilingual French Considered an asset
