A bioactive terrarium is an enclosure that mimics a natural environment by including live plants and populations of small invertebrates and microorganisms to consume and break down waste. This means a more natural environment for you and the lizard, less clean-up, easier maintenance, and improved health of the terrarium.
This terrarium includes a bespoke arid substrate mixture (width drainage layer) to mimic the natural environment of bearded dragons. It includes:
