Role Description:

In-House Solutions is seeking a motivated individual to join our Sales team in identifying potential customers and working with existing customers to achieve opportunity-based sales quotas and provide technical support. The Software Account Representative will reach out and interact with the Company’s software suppliers and Educational end users.

You will assist the sales team in developing, maintaining and growing Educational client relationships by providing superior customer service to Educational customers and prospects. As a highly dynamic individual, you will ensure frequent customer interaction and will build relationships through face-to-face, phone, and electronic communication. You will be responsible for attending meetings with colleagues and maintaining an open line of communication with all levels of the organization.

Occasional travel is a requirement and will be expected as necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•Achieve or exceed sales targets with minimal supervision
•Collaborate with Account Managers to determine strategic sales approaches
•Accept inbound leads and convert them into qualified opportunities
•Communicate a brand identity and corporate position that aligns with company’s image
•Develop and present proposed software and hardware solutions to Educational facilities
•Develop the Educational market through customer visits, special events, and partnerships
•Influence decision makers and end-users to improve their efficiency and productivity
•Solve account issues and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
•Find new business opportunities through networking with industry professionals
•Provide technical support to both new and existing customers
•Assess training needs for customers and recommend specialized solutions
•Energize the sales channel by sharing product information and sales successes
•Promote Company products at tradeshows, webinars and open house events
•Attend regular sales meetings to review accounts and brainstorm strategies
•Support Skills Canada participants at the provincial, national and world competitions

Education and Skills:

Essentials:
•Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, or equivalent
•Experience with direct sales, especially a Business to Business sales and marketing environment
•Experience in the manufacturing industry with a technical aptitude
•Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
•G-Class drivers license

Assets:
•Ability to communicate effectively with others, including unhappy customers
•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
•Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
