What's an Attended Donation Centre Supervisor (ADC Supervisor)?

Reporting to the Regional Manager of the East, the successful candidate will fulfill Goodwill’s organizational mission by leading the Donation Centre teams in building positive relationships with donors and demonstrating customer service, while providing opportunities for employment, thus helping change lives through the power of Work

The ADC Supervisor will fulfill Goodwill’s organizational mission by:
Ensuring ADC employees receive supervision, training and opportunities for advancement
Providing opportunities for employment, thus helping change lives through the power of Work
Helping build positive relationships with donors at the point of contact
Advocate for the Safety and Health of ADC employee

What's the role?
Ensure 100% donor satisfaction and World Class customer service expectations are met
Schedule team members and prepare time and attendance reports
Respond to Donor concerns in a reasonable and timely manner.
Conduct ADC visits on a daily basis to monitor building / trailer operations, supply levels, and to train, develop, and supervise performance of team members
Ensure processing and safety standards are met and maintained
Maintenance of organizational image, branding, and overall cleanliness at ADC sites
Ensure donor counts are accurately tracked, logged and submitted in a timely manner
Maintain donor integrity by following loss prevention procedures and policies
Develop and maintain the budget for area of responsibility
Responsible for the recruitment, selection, training and development of new ADC team members
Responsible for supervision and performance management of all ADC Team Members including conducting probationary and annual performance assessments
Responsible for other assigned duties and managerial responsibilities within the framework of our Guiding Principles.
Follow all safety standards set out in legislation and/or Goodwill policies.

Do you have a minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams and processes?
Do you have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills?
Do you have excellent Customer Service skills?
Are you able to work in a fast paced/high pressure environment?
Are you familiar with health and safety legislation within the workplace?
Do you have experience coaching and developing people?
Do you have experience leading change?
Do you have computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office?
Do you have strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills?
