Retail Sales Small Business Specialist - Telecommunications

This is an opportunity for the person who loves technology and gadgets. Besides the opportunity to work with the newest devices, you will hold accountability for coaching and mentoring a sales team by utilizing your demonstrated drive to succeed.

What does success in this role look like?

  • The ability to drive and contribute to the store’s overall achievement of sales targets for all lines of business (including wireless, TV and Internet);
  • Consistent attainment of monthly sales targets;
  • Prospectiing via cold calling, door knocking and other channels for new Small and Medium Business customers
  • Demonstrated initiative in learning and understanding new products, services and promotional offerings;
  • Capability to reinforce the overall performance of all employees and engage staff in monthly coaching sessions;
  • Ability to work in a customer facing environment as well as being okay to occasionally conduct outbound business development (cold calls, call back, special events, etc.) and
  • Inherent drive to exceed customers' expectations by going the extra mile

Do you fit the part?

  • 2 years of retail sales or customer service experience
  • Outbound sales experience is a plus
  • Comfortable with technology such as computers, mobile devices and digital merchandising
  • Ability to motivate and lead a sales team to achieve targets
  • Eperience coaching and mentoring staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on active listening
  • Strong organizational skills, initiative and strong ability to prioritize
  • Passion for the latest technology
  • Must commit to a minimum 40 hours per week
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays
