Location: Home-office based in Sarnia, ON (preferred) - may also consider Windsor/London, ON corridor

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

•Promote Pentair’s Industrial Heat Tracing Solutions (IHTS) capabilities with the goal of developing and securing Product business related to capital project, sustaining, and maintenance opportunities;
•Promote Pentair’s Industrial Heat Tracing Solutions (IHTS) capabilities with the goal of developing and securing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services related to capital project, sustaining, and maintenance opportunities;
•Initiate, maintain, and grow strong relationships with industrial clients in South Western Ontario, primarily Sarnia;
•Drive for results to meet and exceed Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets;
•Work with the respective Regional Sales & Operations Leadership teams to establish, execute, and be accountable for strategies and plans to drive growth;
•Obtain market intelligence, recommend actions to maintain/grow competitive position and identify and manage strategic clients;
•Coordinate Proposal & Estimating (P&E) activities in conjunction with applicable functional teams to secure new products and services opportunities;
•Prepare & present strategic IHTS product and Heat Management System (HMS) presentations to engineering & owner clients;
•Manage Distribution sales network:
•Working in concert with the regional leadership team, develop and refine revenue forecasts;
•Represent Pentair-IHTS in client meetings and lead negotiations/strategy sessions;
•Maintain an ethical and professional approach;
•Work closely with and maintain open communications with the existing IHTS sales force.
•Influence a positive Pentair image and culture demonstrating the core values of Customer First, Accountability for Performance, Innovation and Adaptability, Positive Energy, Respect and Teamwork and Absolute Integrity.


•2 – 5+ years of progressive sales and or related EPC selling experience.
•Previous experience and relationships within Industrial market a definite asset
•Degree or diploma, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering / technology.
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
•Technical knowledge and experience associated with electrical industrial applications as it pertains to engineering, construction, and maintenance applications would be an asset.
•Technical knowledge and experience as it pertains to petro-chemical processing would be a definite asset.
•Experience with Heat Tracing would be a definite asset.
•Strong time management, organizational and communication skills are required.
•Demonstrated ability to establish and cultivate strong business relationships
