Charming Furnished House to Rent in a Vibrant Neighbourhood

I am looking for tenants with mid-term (3 to 6 months) to long-term (6 to 12 months, renewable) contracts. Indicated price is what I ask for 3 to 6 months, and negotiable for longer contracts.

The house is available from April to June and September. I will need the house over the Summer, but I am flexible to some overlaps.

This house is ideal for professors or professionals coming to Montreal with their families. Two small bedrooms for children and a master bedroom with balcony for parents. A main floor all open: 2 living rooms, one dining room and a large kitchen with direct access to the courtyard with a large patio for hot summer nights! Nearer to Concordia, McGill and UQAM: less than 20min by métro or bike. And even walkable in 50 minutes or so. Also the parking is an amazing feature if you want to explore the countryside and have your car ready at anytime to bring the kids somewhere.

The Neighbourhood In Verdun, one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods of Montreal and apparently the world! Less than 5 km from McGill & Concordia, 200 meters from Wellington (all you need to shop), 300 meters from the subway stop De l'Eglise (green line), 800 meters from the St.Lawrence River (jogging and bike trails by the river and an urban beach near the center of the neighbourhood). Wellington is pedestrian during Summer time and hosts many events. In March, there's an urban sugar shack festival.

The House It's an old house built around 1900, it does feel like an old house, not everything is renovated but the essentials yes (kitchen/bathrooms/bedrooms). It is very charming and feels very homy. A great place to have people over. It's rare to have a full house to ourselves so near to downtown, with parking (2 spots) and large garden. It's also near the highway for weekends in nature in Laurentides or Eastern Township.

Detailed description by floors Main floor: entrance balcony, lobby, 2 living rooms, 1 dining room, one kitchen, 1 small restroom and washer-dryer on the side, one large outside terrasse and a wooded courtyard. Second floor: stairway, 1 open room for office between the 3 rooms, on the left towards the backyard there's a master bedroom with balcony, on the right side (road side), 2 small rooms with road-side balcony (very quiet street, not an issue) and a full bathroom (bath & shower). I also made a second quasi office (in the kitchen to enjoy the light and the wooded courtyard when it rains).

The Courtyard and the Parking Behind the house, there's a lovely shadowy courtyard that allows to eat outside during hot summer evenings. Montreal can be hot in summer time and eating out is a blessing. On the side of the house, there are 2 parking spots available. For you and your visitors. A rare feature of houses in the city. I used to travel a lot and could not be there to change sides (winter snow removal). It's very convenient for American tenants who travel by car to Montreal.
