An exceptional example of the classic Realistic 2-way bookshelf speaker, the MC-800’s were first introduced on October 30 1985, and remained available through 1989.
The handsome oiled walnut cabinet, woofer & tweeter, speaker grills, and Realistic badges are all original and in excellent shape.
These speakers are very efficient (91 dB), requiring only low-power to provide more than adequate levels of surprisingly good musical sound. Ideally suited for the shelf or for wall-mounting with the supplied wire hangers.
The 6 ½ “ mid/bass driver is fitted with textile impregnated surrounds that will not require replacement, and is complimented by a 2 ½ “ cone tweeter.
