I think it’s bevause of how they’re made. The soles are real rubber and feel different than other shoes I have that are composite materials. They are heavier than average but are well structured. There’s a serial number in the tongue of the shoe so you can check it’s authenticity and register it so you know you’re not buying a knock off. I can’t wait to wear these out. Very different than what I can buy locally. I’ll definitely buy more.
