My name is Barbara and I’m a professional cellist with over 40 years of experience performing and teaching lessons of all ages.
I have been teaching privately for over 40 years including at the Conservatory at the University of Regina and now in my private studio.
I am the former principal cellist with the International Symphony Orchestra; section member of the Regina Symphony and Canadian Opera Company Orchestra.
I have freelanced with: Orchestra London, Windsor Symphony, Saskatoon Symphony, National Ballet, Bedford Springs Festival Orchestra and more.......
I freelance for various gigs and recording sessions. I have played cello on numerous CD's as background for various bands- Pop, Rock, Celtic, Classical etc.
I have a few spots are available for new cello students of all ages and levels. Feel free to contact me for more information regarding pricing and availability.
** Local students: limited rental instruments available as well as student instrument packages for purchase.

My group “Vivace” performs at weddings, cocktail parties , dinners, funerals and corporate functions.
I perform in : Sarnia/Brights Grove, Petrolia, London, Wallaceburg, Chatham and surrounding areas. Contact me to see if your location could work!
Weddings: We generally play for 30 minutes prior to the ceremony plus the ceremony; We can arrange to play for cocktails immediately following the ceremony; We will also play for the reception for an additional cost;
Cost: The cost will vary, depending on the number of people performing; time required; Distance of venue.
I can provide: String: duos, trios, quartets and other arrangements.
