Make Your Own Bag House
This is a project that never got finished. Never got beyond this stage, never used. My dream was to replace the 4 bags on the “out” of my cyclone with this set up. Maybe even put them outside in a bag house and have the conditioned air returned into the shop.
The smaller manifold will attach to the ceiling and the larger with the drawer will be the lower. The bags, 16 of them, are 4” X 84” giving a LOT of filter area for the system to work freely. You’ll need 32 hose clamps to attach the bags, which I had but have used on other projects over the years. If you have a cyclone and a proper air tight container under it, these bags will take a very long time before needing to be shaken / beaten.
The ¾” plywood is heavy so I would look at pick up rather than shipping as that would blow the effective cost of this. Once installed, determine the location / size of the pipe from your cyclone and cut a hole in the top manifold.
