The 263HD - fits Chev/GMC - with the **3 position dash switch** having a 4L80E transmission (NP-1 designation) (1500HD, 2500, 2500HD) **This Transfer Case is *NOT* the 4 position dash switch variety The 4 position dash switch Transfer Case - is known as a 246 (for: 4L80E and 4L60E versions - that I ALSO HAVE AVAILABLE - freshly rebuilt and upgraded) - see a separate ad.

The 261HD and the 263HD FITS: (2001 - 2007 - Classic Body Type ONLY) Chev or GMC 1500HD, 2500, 2500HD and 3500 with a 6.0 ltr GAS engine and the 4L80E Automatic Transmission - the GM code (in your glove box is RPO CODE MT1 or MN8 for the transmission) Found in; Avalanche 2500, CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500/3500 or GMC SIERRA - CREW-CAB, EXTENDED CAB 2500, 2500HD, 3500 - Short Box or Long Box.

** The 6th picture shows a 'POOR/UNUSABLE' Rear Slip Yoke which is inserted in the tailstock of the transfer case cone - Yokes in this poor condition - CAN NOT be reused - they'll grind out the rear pressed in bushing (like sandpaper) in the tail-cone of a newly rebuilt transfer case - very quickly! - thereafter - oil will leak out/sweat out the rear of the new case and a new seal will NOT rectify the situation. If yours looks like this (or worse?) you'll need a NEW Rear Slip Yoke and at a minimum, the first u-joint that couples this rear slip yoke with your rear drive shaft. **I stock both the; Rear Slip Yoke and the correct U-Joint - for purchase.**
