Vintage Bonair BA 1690 14 ft. travel trailer camper

1986 Bonair model BA1690 camping/travel trailer produced by Bonair Leisure Products Ltd QC. Canada. Considered a Ultra lite net weight 1936 lbs. (890kg) Found in overall good plus condition however during a winter storage the water system not drained properly destroying the hot water tank and allowing water to leak for several summers. The trailer sleeps four adults with child bunk for two. Equipped with fresh water, grey water and black water tanks. Sitting area with sofa (folds to a double) front dinette with benches (folds to a double). Upper child bunk (or storage). Toilet with shower. Kitchen counter/cupboard with sink and 3 burner stove top. My rebuilt idea was to repair or replace all old propane/electrical and plumping as required to make it safe and efficient as possible. After removing water heater the rear floor area was replaced. The complete trailer was checked for possible water leaks resulting in the left rear corner siding being lifted and repairs made then sealed. The trailer modifications to date are removal of all old propane equipment, Install new AC/DC panel with smart charge (this included wiring and new grounds so solar and lithium batteries could be utilised. New propane hose and regulator was installed. A new 7 prong plug and junction box wired in. New awning fabric. Modifications to existing spaces for new equipment. So far over $1,500.00 has been spent on new materials and equipment. The trailer frame has been cleaned, inspected and painted. The brakes/bearings checked, cleaned and are in good working order. Brand new tires, rims and safety chains installed. The trailer has been used for several weekend camping trips but requires further work to be completed however I'm not able hence the trailer is up for sale. The trailer is worth the effort to finish it for a DIY guy as I spent several summers trying to find a suitable trailer of this size and design (body length 14 ft. and width of 6 ft. 9 in) and weight. The hitch/tongue is 3 ft. 9 in. and holds dual 20 lb. propane tanks. There is a list of items that have been researched and priced to go back into the trailer (depending on the level you want to take it). The trailer and all items that go with it can be viewed now. The trailer interior drapes, cushions, panelling and flooring in good plus condition. Exterior is in good condition for its age. Equipped with screens all windows plus a screen door.
