The trailer and canvas are in excellent condition - No leaks. In august I camped at Balsam Lake provincial park for 2 days in the pouring rain. It was the first rain for me and the camper and I was happy to find there were no leaks.
I had the awning out and lowered so I could come and go without getting soaked. The tenters packed up and left. It was nice for once not being the one in the tent. I sat warm, dry and cozy in my trailer reading a book and sipping on hot tea.
I am the 2nd owner of this trailer. I purchased it from an elderly couple that used it 5 times. I took this trailer camping to the east coast and back. It tows easy. I even towed it around the Cabot Trail and up and down the mountains of Cape Breton Island. I hardly noticed any mileage difference with my truck. I have also towed it with a minivan.
I camped with and without electricity.
I camped at Prequile Provincial Park with no electricity.
The fridge is a 3 way fridge and its easy to use. Surprisingly when using propane the fridge runs off of the pilot light only and is very cold. The ceiling lights run off the trailer battery. I changed the interior lights to LED bulbs. I bought the expensive ones that produce better lighting then the original bulbs and use a lot less power.
The trailer has a water tank and a built in pump. Hit the switch and it pressurizes. There is an external hookup for water if the site has water.
There are lots of things I could say about this camper. If you're interested its best to just come and take a look at it.
Oh a few things to note:
It has a queen bed on one end, double bed on the other side. The table folds down into a bed also. It has a 3 burner stove. Fridge and furnace. The furnace runs off of a thermostat just like your house. The trailer is equipped with a smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector and has a fire extinguisher. There is a ceiling vent, tinted windows and privacy curtains in front of the beds. The table has an extension in case you have company. There is a BBQ that attaches to the side of the trailer and a handy shelf that attaches beside the door.
Almost forgot. The beds have electric mattresses. Nice at night when the temperatures dip down.
