RARE Off-Grid Overlanding 2023 Kimbo 6 Truck Camper

Looking for a unique, lightweight, well-built, and modern overlanding truck camper? I am selling my 2023 Kimbo 6. A rare find in Canada, or anywhere else on the used market! Less than one year old, I picked up this custom-ordered camper directly from the Kimbo factory in Bellingham, Washington in July 2023. You cannot purchase these campers in Canada as they are only manufactured and sold in the US. At the time of purchase, it was estimated that fewer than 20 had been imported into Canada. After much research, I chose the Kimbo as there are few truck camper options on the market that are light enough to be carried by a mid or full-sized pick-up and also contain all of the basic amenities you enjoy having in your own home. The Kimbo was also designed to be capable of being enjoyed in certain winter conditions as well, making it a perfect companion for a ski or boarding trip in the mountains! If you were to order a new Kimbo today, the current wait-time listed on their website is four months. As I ordered mine loaded with almost every option, you’d be paying close to $60,000 CAD at the current exchange rate. That is also before US and Canadian taxes are applied, which would have to be paid upon bringing a new Kimbo back into Canada. In addition, there is a charge for shipping to the closest US border if you cannot pick it up from the factory directly. This is a great opportunity to save some money compared to purchasing brand new! I travelled around the US and Canada between mid-July to late September last year and just returned from a weeklong trip to Northern Manitoba, so this Kimbo is still in excellent condition. Its simplicity in design means that there are many fewer systems to potentially break compared to a conventional camper and I haven’t had any problems at all in my travels. While I’ve been very happy using this camper, I have other priorities right now and will not be travelling as much anymore.
