My name is Matt, and I am a Phd graduate in Civil Engineering at University of Waterloo (UW). I provide tutoring services in the field of statistics and mathematics at the university level. My tutoring/teaching experiences include one-to-one and group tutoring in stats and math at UW residence and UW Office of People with Disability, teaching assistantship at under-graduate and graduate level, as well as teaching stats three times to 2nd year civil engineering students.
My students know me as a supportive teacher, helping them a lot towards their goals. If you are taking statistics/math courses, and have difficulties understanding the concepts and solving the problems, do not be scared. Statistics and math are quite understandable, as long as you step through the correct path, which is the exploration of concepts in simple words combined with several practice questions. And I can certainly help you with that. Note that the tutoring services that I offer are meant to be supplementary to what you learn in class, and with the goal of getting the best possible grade.
Here is a list of course I am totally comfortable with the materials: Basic and Advanced Statistics, Statistics for Social Studies, Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Calculus, Optimization, Risk and Reliability Analysis, etc.
