Who am I?
I am currently a Grade 12 high school student who has successfully gotten an average of 100% in Grade 10 academic math, 99% in Grade 12 advanced functions, 99% in Grade 11 functions, 99% in Grade 11 university chemistry, 99% in Grade 12 university chemistry, 98% in Grade 11 university physics.

I have tutored 50+ students from different grades and schools and improved their marks by an average of 5%. With my two-year tutoring experience, deep understanding of the knowledge, and effective explaining and communicating ability, I always earn positive feedback from students and their parents. I am good at customizing my teaching focusing on age and level-appropriate material. I summarize methods of different kinds of questions with students, so I am not simply teaching how to solve only one type of question but a range of similar questions. As a peer, I can easily sense my students’ confusions and therefore create intensive tutoring plans and help them in a more effective way.

Who can be my tutees?
Anyone who needs help in math and high school sciences.
From Grade 1 to Grade 12.

Why choose a high school student as a tutor instead of a university student or a person with a bachelor’s degree?
Based on my opinion and experiences, firstly, it is easier and more comfortable to communicate with the peers. Since we are at the same thinking level, and I have been through their thinking processes while in class, I can effectively sense what my tutees are most confused about. Secondly, high school math concepts and applications are fresh in my mind, so I know the strategies to formatting solutions and writing math tests better than those who have gone further into university math programs. Selecting me means introducing an experienced, supportive peer mentor and friend to your children’s academic career and more importantly, selecting a lower price!
